The Social Navigation project recently conducted a comparative analysis of three different planning methods, including Human Aware Navigation, A*+DWA, and Dijkstra+TEB. The project evaluated the performance of each method within a Unity environment, treating moving humans as obstacles, and discovered that Human Aware Navigation achieved an optimal average minimum distance of 0.89.
